Thank you for stopping by my website and learning more about the services I offer. I love helping people; I see the daily struggles. It’s important for people to take time for themselves, as we can become buried and stuck in the everyday routine, or get thrown a curve ball in life and not be prepared to handle these occurrences. I encourage my clients and help them develop their goals by offering support, giving resources, and working on strategies to create a more balanced life.

In 2006, after graduating from the University of San Francisco, I began serving the community as a therapist. I began my career in California offering services to adolescents in juvenile detention, students through the school district and in an office setting with individuals, couples and families.

I moved to Texas with my family in 2012 and began to contract with the Counseling Center of Denton. With Counseling Center of Denton I served on the Child Protective Services contract working with parents, the Family Tree Program (this is a state funded program), and ran a parenting group through Family Tree and Divorce Sanity group (co-parenting class for parents divorcing).

I am so happy to be closer to home now and office at EMPOWERED Counseling. I am the owner of Sanders Counseling. In my private practice I serve clients 12yo and up focusing on couples, individuals, adolescents and families.
